“Beauty in a Rough Game: UC Women’s Rugby”

This editorial style of photos are an open door into the unique experiences of the University of Cincinnati’s Women’s Rugby team. Following my teammates and I to a few tournaments, the viewer gets a glimpse into the life a student-athlete. This includes the moments of preparing to travel, team bonding, celebration of wins, and off-field moments that you can only get being an insider. Through portraits, some self-portraits, landscapes, and detail shots, I have captured the beauty of the rugby experience which contrasts with the roughness of the game.
