“The Agony of Aging”

The subjects in this collection of photos are two of my younger brothers. One being 20 and the other 10 creates an interesting dynamic when it comes to where they are in their lives and how aging has impacted them. The older brother has had enough time to experience the hardships and the agony that comes with aging. The younger brother has not lived long enough to have lost his innocence. I wanted to capture the contrast of emotions as the younger sibling sports a smile and is seemingly laughing at the pain the older sibling experiences.
